In Venice, on the island of Murano, glass has been made for over a thousand years. These Tinti Matteo glass cufflinks are also made in Murano, Venice. Tinti Matteo is the current owner of the glass factory, whose father Giuseppe was met by Sonja and Tuomo in Venice. Now over 70 years old, Giuseppe has passed the business to his son, who still creates glass jewelry and utility items in Venice using traditional Murano methods.

Gold and silver, along with other substances to add color, are mixed into the glass. The glass creates a stunning three-dimensional piece of jewelry that draws admiration in the cufflink.
