In Venice, on the island of Murano, glass has been made for over a thousand years. These Tinti Matteo glass cufflinks are also made in Murano, Venice. Tinti Matteo is the current owner of the glass factory, whose father Giuseppe was met by Sonja and Tuomo in Venice. Now, over 70 years old, Giuseppe has passed the business on to his son, who still makes glass jewelry and utility items in Venice using traditional Murano methods.

Gold and silver, as well as other substances, are mixed into the glass to bring color. The glass creates a stunning three-dimensional piece of jewelry that draws admiration in the cufflinks.
