Reykjavik District
Reykjavik District is a small clothing atelier with roots extending to Iceland's volcanic soil. Olly, who hails from Iceland, designs all of Reykjavik's clothes and is actually a third-generation fashion designer. The clothes are made in the couple's small atelier in Warsaw, Poland, which is Ania's birthplace and the couple's hometown.
Continuous planning ensures excellent designs and materials
Sonja and Tuomo visit Olly and Ania a couple of times a year, and together they plan the upcoming season. This allows us to offer a clothing collection in the in the boutique that is perfectly suited for our customers. What’s great about the Reykjavik District collection is that we can offer a completely unique selection of clothes that cannot be found elsewhere in Finland, and most of the collection is produced in very small batches exclusively for our boutique. The Reykjavik District collection is extensive and versatile, offering products for different styles of dressing. The collection is clearly designed to provide solutions for both festive occasions and everyday wear. The entire collection is united by the fact that attention to detail has been paid down to the very last stitch. The piping on the blazers features the same fabric as the buttons, and the pockets of the chinos are not lacking in twist.
Unique and different men's clothing collection
The collection includes very stylish men's blazers with excellent fit and great details. The stunning suits are made using REDA fabrics, which exude quality and are also excellent for daily use, where the choice is based on durability and usability. Reykjavik District's chinos have gained special popularity among our customers due to their excellent fit and quality. In the dress shirts, you will find nice details, and the selection includes dress shirts for celebrations as well as casual dress shirts for leisure. The collection also strongly features casual blazers that are great to wear with chinos.
The basic idea behind Reykjavik's clothing is excellent fit. According to Olly, the garment should feel good on the wearer, which is also evident from the great fit. Products and models are constantly being developed. The different blazer models of Reykjavik District are very popular. The design emphasizes Nordic design and style in an Icelandic way, sticking to simplicity and large lines, yet standing out with details.
Only a very small number of each garment is made. This allows for more diverse options in dressing and always ensures the wearer's individuality, as these are not mass-produced and you won't see them everywhere. Only Italian fabrics are used in the garments, guaranteeing durability and quality. The main product is a men's coat collection, around which the entire men's wardrobe and the rest of the Reykjavik District collection are built.
