The oak used in the pen has been preserved in an oxygen-free bog for thousands of years, slowly fossilizing and thus acquiring its dark, almost black color.
The bright, chrome metal parts and the carefully waxed wood surface give the pen a luxurious feel and finish.
The pen's ink mechanism is easily replaceable when the ink runs out. With proper care, the pen will last a lifetime.
