Chester Jefferies carefully focuses on selecting high-quality leathers for their products and significantly invests in quality to ensure that the finished products are long-lasting, stylish, and comfortable to use. Chester Jefferies founded the glove-making company bearing his name together with Gilbert Pearce in 1936. However, the Jefferies family has a much older glove-making tradition, as the first Jefferies gloves were made as early as the 1820s.

The gloves are made in Gillingham, Dorset County, England. In glove manufacturing, it has been a tradition that some of the work stages can be done at the worker's home, although nowadays an increasing part of the work is done at Chester Jefferies' own premises.
